Zoning Board of Appeals

Meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Hall as needed.

Legal notice of all Zoning Board  of Appeals meetings appear in the Altamont Enterprise 2 weeks prior to any meeting.  Meeting agenda is also listed under Calendar.

Zoning Board of Appeals handles requests for Special Use Permits - required to open any business within the Village and Variances - requests for any type of variance in the Zoning Laws of the Village.  All information and paperwork may be obtained from Village Zoning Administrator.

Altamont Planning Board

Meets the 4th Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Hall as needed.

Legal notice of all Planning Board meetings appear in the Altamont Enterprise 2 weeks prior to any meeting.  Meeting agenda is also listed under Calendar.

The Altamont Planning Board reviews requests for minor and major Sub-Division, and other land use request within the village.  All information and paperwork may be obtained from Village Zoning Administrator.
