Rural Guilderland Referral Committee

Meeting are held at the Village Hall, 6:30 pm and are open to the public.

Upcoming Scheduled Meetings:

March 24, 2008 - review plans of Jeff Thomas for the construction of a building on the corner of Route 146 and Gun Club Rd.   Plans are available for review at the village office.

               Mayor James M. Gaughan, Chairman

               Donald F. Cropsey, Jr , technical advisor and non-voting member

               Scott Delong, Citizen Representative

               Timothy McIntyre, Superintendent of Public Works

               Kerry Dineen, Village Trustee

               Maurice McCormick, Chairman of Zoning Board of Appeals

               Steve Parachini, Chairman of Planning Board

 

This committee shall review all referrals and provide a review summary and recommendation(s) to the Altamont Village Board for their review and approval as outlined in the Law as described below:

Under Local Law No. 6 of the year 2005, the Town of Guilderland enacted a law referring to he Village of Altamont any application for:

                                           Special Use Permit,

                                           Site Plan,

                                           Use or Area Variance,

                                           Zone Changes: and

                                           Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan

 If these actions apply to real property within

                         1200 ft of the boundary of the Village of Altamont; or                  

                         1200 ft from the current and future Village of Altamont water  

                         system.

 

The Village Board is required to submit its recommendations to the appropriate Board in the Town of Guilderland within 30 days of receiving request.  The recommendations must be followed, unless overturned by a supermajority vote.
