Village Elections

Voter Registration Forms are always available at the Village Offices or by contacting the Albany County Board of Elections at (518) 487-5060

Registration for the 2007 Village Election was held on March 10, 2007.   Registration was conducted in the Community Room at Village Hall.  Only those who were not registered as living in the Village of Altamont prior to March 10, 2007 needed to register.

The last Village Election was on March 20, 2007.   Voters chose two Trustees and one Justice of the Peace.  Christine Marshall was elected as Trustee, William Aylward was re-elected as Trustee and Neil Taber was re-elected to the position of Justice of the Peace.  All Village Elections are held in the Community Room located at Village Hall.  

Town, County and National Elections are also held in the Community Room located at Village Hall.  School District Budget Voting and Elections are held at Altamont Elementary School.
