Beginning June 1, 2024, the Town of Guilderland will be expanding transportation services for our Village seniors.   In addition to providing transportation for shopping each week, the Town will now include transportation for medical appointments for our Village senior residents. An information sheet with the details, schedule, and contact number can be found using the link below; hard copies are available at the Village office.

If you have appointments scheduled with us after June 1st, please contact Guilderland as soon as possible to make the transportation change and get on their schedule.

Transportation to the Village Senior luncheon will continue to occur weekly.  If you need transportation to and from the luncheon and are not a regular lunch pick up, please call Kathy at 518-861-6030 to make arrangements for a ride.  If you have never attended our senior luncheon, and you are interested in coming, please call Carol Ward by Sunday night each week at 518-595-5172 to RSVP.

We are excited to continue working with the Town of Guilderland for the benefit of our seniors!  The modification in our transportation services allows the Village to increase its contribution for the senior luncheon program that has faced considerable cost increases over the last few years.  If you have any questions on the changes to the senior program, please contact the Village office at 518-861-8554 ext. 10.  We are excited to continue working with the Town of Guilderland for the benefit of our seniors and the senior program.
