Synopsis of May 2006 Meetings and Progress

  • The raw data from both the Workshop and the Survey has been compiled by our consultant and we are sifting through it all.
  • The raw data, now cleaned up to make readable, will be posted on the Village website at the end of this week for all who may be interested
  • Outreach to specific interest groups with in the Village (such as interviews conducted by Nan) has commenced in the interim
  • We are also, as part of this focus group process, are planning a Teen Pizza Night to get their input on their concerns and vision for the future
  • Given the data gathered in the Survey and Workshop, the Committee has been tasked to prepare individual "Vision Statements" for our next meeting on June 19th, Hopefully many of them are similar and point to a clear set of goals for the Village, well hopefully.
  • Next Step: Continue in the development of the outline Plan document incorporating and organizing all findings and finalizing draft goals and direction for the Village. This will be presented to the Village in a Second workshop for comment/review sometime at the end of the summer.
