Synopsis of February 2006 Meetings and Progress

• We continue to gather a great deal of base information on the Village, particularly as a way to "educate" our Village Planner Nan Stolzenburg as well as data for the "front-end" of the final pian documents. These items include things like:
• General history of the Village and cultural resources
• Demographic information and charting
• Overview of the infrastructure and utilities in the Village including identified areas needing improvements
• Emergency Services
• Based on a tremendous effort by Kristin Casey and review by the committee, we also have a finalized community-wide survey. This is currently scheduled to be made available, on-line as well as paper, the third week in March. An article in the Enterprise as well as individual invitations are planned to make sure we reach out to all for input.
• With the expertise and input from Nan Stolzenburg, we are also organizing for the first community-wide workshop which we have now scheduled for April 8th• We have much to do in this area including further outreach to specific activitygroups and the community at large to make sure attendance is as high as possible.
• As we progress, we will also look to create a webpage as a source for scheduling information, updates and records of meeting minutes, etc.
