Comprehensive Planning Committee Synopsis of July 2006 Progress (update)

• The committee has completed and refined both the Vision Statement and the supporting Goals and objectives and,
• The committee now continues to shift through the collected raw data as we prepare proposed strategies and actions to address the numerous identified objectives. We are meeting to collective compare individual thoughts next Monday evening. This should be a major lap toward refining the draft plan.
• As noted on the agenda, we have come to the conclusion, during this process, that the Village is unable to take on the development of Village-specific GIS "layers" necessary at this time, both financially and time-wise, without slowing the process down. We are therefore currently looking to allocate this task to our Village Planner by executing an option offered within her original contract, pending Board approval tonight.
