Water and Sewer Rents

WATER and SEWER RENTS are billed together on April 1st and October 1st of each year. 

Water Rent is payable, without penalty, during April and October.

Sewer Rent is payable, without penalty, during May and November.

Unpaid Water and Sewer, for all customers within the Village, are relevied April 1st, annual, to the Village Property Tax.

WATER RENT

RESIDENTS:

           MINIMUM       $   52.             0 - 10,000     GALLONS

              $ 103.   10,000 - 20,000     GALLONS

           20,001 to   50,000 gallons    $ 2.60  per 1,000

           50.001 to   80,000 gallons    $ 3.00  per 1,000

           80,001 to 100,000 gallons    $ 3.75  per 1,000

           Over 100,000 gallons            $ 4.00  per 1,000

NON-RESIDENTS:

            MINIMUM      $ 103.              0 - 10,000    GALLONS

                                   $ 206.    10,000 - 20,000    GALLONS

            20,001 to   50,000 gallons    $ 3.00  per 1,000

            50,001 to   80,000 gallons    $ 3.50  per 1,000

            80,001 to 100,000 gallons    $ 4.00  per 1,000

            Over 100,000 gallons            $ 4.50  per 1,000

These figures represent cost per unit.  Multiple units are billed for each unit.

First billings for new homes owners will be billed at the 20,000 base rate of

$ 103. residential and $ 206. non-residential rents.

SEWER USAGE RENT

Sewer Rents are levied on April 1st and October 1st.

There shall be a semi-annual fee for all users of the system in the amount of 180 % of each April Water Bill and 150 % of each October Water Bill.

The Altamont Fair is hereby billed 330 % of the water used between April 1st and September 30th.  (October Bill)
