WATER FLUSHING
Begins Monday, April 3th through
Friday, April 28th
Residents may encounter low water
pressure or discoloration during
this process.  Residents are advised
to check for discoloration prior to
doing laundry as staining may occur.
For more information, call the Village Offices
during regular business hours.

SPRING YARD WASTE COLLECTION
Spring Yard Waste Collection will begin on April 17, 2017.
Leaves MUST be in biodegradable paper bags.  Bags must
be closed and sealed.  Please do not include bottles, cans
or any foreign refuse in the bags as it could be hazardous
to the equipment and workmen.  Brush and branches
must be no larger than 2" in diameter, bundled in twine,
and no longer than 4' in length in order for them to be
picked up. Bages and brush bundles must be light enough
for one man to easily lift them into a truck.  Bags and
brush should not be placed on pavement or in ditches
as they could inhibit the flow of storm water.  The pickup
schedule will depend on the amount of yard waste
that is set out around the Village at the time.

Volunteers Needed
The parks and green spaces in the Village have
gradually expanded, and that expansion brings
opportunities for volunteer assistance.
If there is anyone in and around the Village who
would like to offer assistance in maintaining the gardens,
please contact Keith Lee at Altamontgardens@aol.com.
We plan to develop a contact list of volunteers, and
as needs develop, an e-mail would be sent to this contact
list with details of place, time, and type of assistance needed.
