The Train Station Quilters pose in front of a quilt
recently presented to Edward Frank of Choice 301,
Beacon of Hope on Gun Club Road.
The quilt depicts individual shoes on a blue path
created by individual quilters which evoke
the victims of drivers under the influence of alcohol.
The quilt replicates a display at Choices 301 which
contain hundreds of shoes donated by a local high school
and mounted as a memorial remembrance of loved ones

The parks and green spaces in the Village have
gradually expanded, and that expansion brings
opportunities for volunteer assistance.
If there is anyone in and around the
would like to offer assistance in maintaining the gardens,
We plan to develop a contact list of volunteers, and
as needs develop, an e-mail would be sent to this contact
list with details of place, time, and type of assistance needed.
