Comprehensive Planning Report July 18, 2006Comprehensive Planning Committee Progress Report July 18, 2006 Survey has been summarized. The survey reports have been summarized and cross tabulations are being determined. This will help interpret the information and be the building block for the plan. Cross tabulations will determine what are the concerns in each of the areas and how many times was a concern mentioned by various demographics or groups. An example of this might be sidewalks Were they a big concern for individuals in a certain area? It could be a concern of families with young children or individuals over a certain age. Draft Vision Statement: We have a draft Vision Statement based on the survey and the workshop that was discussed at our meeting last night. The revisions are being circulated among the members of the committee for review and comments. We also have laid out a preliminary series of goals and objectives. Nan Stoltzenberg, our consultant, is consolidating the comments and discussion points and will redistribute the document with lots of blank space where we will begin to fill in the strategies and proposed actions to accomplish our goals.
